Employer Transaction Fees

Transaction Type Effective Date Fee
Incorrect Contribution Remittances January 1, 2017 Upon having to contact an employer three times annually regrading incorrect contribution remittances, at the discrection of the Plan administrator, the employer will be charged a fee of $60 per hour billed in half-hour increments with a minimum charge of $60.
Missing documents for a member, enrolment, termination, return to work forms, etc. January 1, 2017 Upon having to contact an employer three times annually to request forms or documentation for a member, the employer will be charged an administration fee of $30 for all subsequent requests in that year.
Late Contributions January 1, 2017 A $60 fee will be charged to the employer to cover the cost associated with calculating interest owing on late contributions.
Arrears January 1, 2017 An administration fee of $60 per hour billed in half-hour increments with a minimum charge of $60 will be applied to employers that fail to enrol employees or remit contributions on time and it creates an arrears situation requiring a calculation of contirbutions and interest owing.
